Who: The fashion show will feature ten environmentally conscious clothing designers including Kit Pistol, last season's Project Runway contestant. The evening will also feature a live artistic performance by the incomparable creative painter Zoey, who has performed live with famous musicians such as Tim Alexander and the Blue Man Group. The art he creates that night will be one of the evening's auction highlights.
Organic Hors d’oeuvres & cocktails are included with paid admission.
The live auction will begin promptly at 7 p.m., so bid early but stay late for a rare musical performance by Dolphin City.

On Snapshot Day we had close to 75 people either collecting and testing water from nearby parks and streams, checking out educational booths, or picking up trash. To determine the health of our coastal waters, we collected samples from more than 20 sites including Greer Park, Huntington Central Park, Santiago Oaks Regional Park, and Seabridge Park. Make sure to check out the event pictures and stay tuned for a Final Report containing results from the water quality tests.

Coastkeeper coordinated 500 elementary students at Bolsa Chica State Beach to do a beach cleanup and aerial art. Students from Santa Ana, Anaheim, and Newport Beach came out with their hats, sunscreen, and smiles to join in the effort to make the beach cleaner. Coastkeeper hosted the July screening of The Camp's "Sustainable Film Series." The evening featured 5 official selections from the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival, held annually in Nevada City, CA, and on tour at over 70 locations across the U.S. This was a neat opportunity to see amazing films, explore water and ocean-related issues, and inspire people to take action in their community.
