Cosette Yang

Cosette was born and raised in Irvine, CA, spending summers at Corona del Mar, where her passion for marine life sparked. In December of 2022, she received her B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. During her studies, Cosette took on a summer Coastkeeper internship under the marine restoration department, where her interest in working in education and environmental science grew. She now serves as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Orange County Coastkeeper, where she coordinates and teaches Coastkeeper’s education programs, as well as assists in our outreach efforts.

In her free time, she enjoys shopping at local thrift stores, spending time with her family, golfing with friends, and traveling.
